CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Some residents of Forest Lawn are urging the city to do something about a southeast intersection they say is dangerous.
On Tuesday, a 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a car on Barlow Trail near the off-ramp to 17 Ave. SE.
Several residents said the intersection has a bad history of collisions and that they’re often afraid to cross that road.
Others say they have brought up to the issue to the City of Calgary several times to fix the issues with the road but with little to no success.
I have written and called @cityofcalgary countless times over 5 yrs to do something about it because my husband and I take that intersection to work every day. There are no lights, no "No Parking" signs, just a death trap intersection and some poor guy paid with his life. (2/2)
