Police arrest aggressive passenger on flight from Calgary to Toronto

WINNIPEG (660 NEWS) – A 34-year-old woman has been arrested after she became aggressive while on a flight bound for Toronto.
RCMP said the woman was on the flight which left Calgary on Monday but had a scheduled layover in Winnipeg before completing the trip to Toronto.
The woman became reckless when she learned the flight was descending into Winnipeg for the stopover.
Last night, #rcmpmb removed a 34yo female, from North York, ON, from a flight originating from Calgary & bound for Toronto w/ a stopover in Wpg after she became unruly. She was arrested & remains in police custody & may face charges of Causing a Disturbance & Mischief.

Police were called in and asked the woman to leave the aircraft.
She eventually complied but continued to argue with officers and flight crew as she was being escorted off the plane.
Officers later arrested the woman and said charges of causing a disturbance and mischief are pending.
