Two dead in plane crash just south of Edmonton

THORSBY, ALTA (660 NEWS) — Two people are dead following a plane crash northwest of Thorsby, just southwest of Edmonton.

RCMP say they received reports that a small plane crashed around 1:40 p.m. and confirmed the two occupants of the aircraft died.

Members of the Transportation Safety Board are on scene along with RCMP to conduct the investigation.
