Man, 61, shot in leg in ‘targeted attack:’ Calgary police

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Police are searching for suspects after a 61-year-old man was shot while inside his northeast Calgary home late Friday night.

Police say the man was hit in the leg in what they are calling a “targeted attack.”

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the neighbourhood of Rundle.

“The shot came from outside the house,” said Ins. Mike Lalande of the Calgary Police Service (CPS). “We believe it to be a targeted attack.

“We have no suspects at this time.”

The victim was taken to hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
