Indoor play centres allowed to reopen: Hinshaw

EDMONTON (660 NEWS) – Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health has announced that indoor children’s play areas can operate, as long as they follow health guidelines including enhanced cleaning and monitoring.

On her Twitter page, Dr. Deena Hinshaw said these centres have re-opened in BC, Ontario, and Saskatchewan and transmission hasn’t been an issue provided public health measures are in place.

She added health officials will closely monitor these play centres and take additional steps as necessary to protect the health and safety of Albertans.

More to come.
