CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Six Calgary men are facing charges after kidnapping and assaulting a man in Victoria, B.C.

On Sept. 7, officers responded to a call describing a domestic disturbance within the city of Victoria.

When they arrived, they found out that the domestic disturbance was actually a case of kidnapping after a man had been assaulted with a weapon and taken by six suspects.

The six men forced the victim inside their vehicle, where they continued to attack him.

Eventually, the vehicle stopped and the victim was able to escape and contact police.

He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say they think it was a targetted attack and that the public is not at risk.

The next night, officers arrested the first three suspects, then the next three the following night.

Now Miles Anton Brown, 27, William Ricardo Miranda, 28, Steven Claude Pellerin, 24, Anthony Tootoosis, 28, Jeff Robert Mcdonald, 27, and Jenner Boguen, 26, all from Calgary, face one count each of kidnapping and assault with a weapon.
