Suspect charged in Sandstone shooting that killed two

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Police have charged one suspect in a fatal shooting on Friday night.

Officers responded to reports of shots being fired around 8:40 p.m. Friday along Sandarac Place NW.

Two men, a 27-year-old and 19-year-old, were found dead. Another man was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Police have now identified 27-year-old Abas Ahmed Ibrahim and 19-year-old Mohamed Khalid Shaikh as the deceased.

Police said the suspect’s vehicle, a black Infiniti two-door coupe, has also been found.

A 20-year-old man from Calgary, has been charged with two counts of accessory after the fact to murder and one count of party to the offence of attempted murder.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.

Investigators are still looking for two other suspects (pictured above) in the shooting and asking anyone who may know them to come forward.
