Two people dead, one in hospital after Friday night shooting in NW Calgary

Calgary police are looking for three suspects after a fatal shooting in Calgary’s northwest Friday night. Jackie Perez reports on the latest on what police believe to be a targeted attack.

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Two people are dead and a third has been sent to hospital after a shooting in northwest Calgary on Friday night.

Police are now asking for public assistance in locating suspects and a vehicle believed to be involved with the shooting.

A black Infiniti two-door coupe, with a large white sticker across the top rear window, fled the scene on Sandarac Place NW the night of the incident.

Officers responded to the community of Sandstone around 8:30 p.m. on Friday to find two people — a 27-year-old and 19-year-old males — dead in a vehicle with a third suffering gunshot wounds.

The injured male was transported to hospital and is in stable condition.

No suspects are in custody and the homicide unit believes the incident was a targeted attack.
