Ticket holders still waiting for Oilers 50/50 winner

EDMONTON (660 NEWS) -It’s the draw that never ends!
The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation says the 50/50 draw that has been wrought with problems is once again being put off.

The pot for August 7 online draw hit more than $15 million, but the online servers were overwhelmed with requests to purchase tickets, and it led to problems that required refunds.

The final tally is now $14.3 million, and a winning ticket was to be drawn at 4:00 p.m.

However, that came and went without a winner being announced.
The foundation says they will provide an update on the timeline for a winner being announced on Thursday morning.
