Suspect on the loose after hit-and-run in Bowness

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A suspect is still on the run after an attempted carjacking and hit-and-run.
Police said a man was seen running over a pedestrian several times in a stolen vehicle near 83 St. and 46 Ave. NW. Sunday afternoon.
The 66-year-old victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was confronted by bystanders and police said he then pulled a gun and tried to steal another vehicle before running away.
Police found the gun and several pieces of clothing, but are still looking for the suspect, a man in his 20s with a slim build.
He may be wearing a ripped white t-shirt and grey sweat pants.
