Province reports 82 new cases, two new deaths from COVID-19

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A total of 82 new cases of COVID-19 and two new deaths have been identified in Alberta.
The new deaths include a man in his 60s from the Central zone and a man in his 70s from the North zone. Neither of these are connected to continuing care centres.

A total of 227 Albertans have died from the virus.
There are now 1,107 active cases within the province.

Forty-eight people are in hospital, 12 of those in intensive care.
A total of 11,167 Albertans have recovered.
In the past 24 hours, 9,029 tests were conducted, bringing the total to 846,681.
