CPS looking to talk to 3 people of interest in Stephen Ave spitting case

CALGARY – Calgary police are hoping three people of interest can shed some light on a hate-motivated event that happened earlier this month.

On Aug. 1, an incident went viral after a local drag king said they were spat on while shooting a video on Stephen Avenue.

Jordan May, who performs under the name Duke Carson, was performing on the rainbow sidewalk ahead of this year’s virtual Pride celebrations when the suspect also shouted a homophobic slur.

Police are now releasing a few screenshots from the video showing three men of interest that investigators would like to speak to.

If you can identify these men or have any information on this case, call CPS or Crime Stoppers.
