No sign of suspects involved in home invasion near Caroline

CAROLINE (660 NEWS) – RCMP in Rocky Mountain House said they are no physical signs of suspects involved with an earlier home invasion near Caroline.
The police dog service was deployed, and they found no track of the suspects who were believed to be in the area at the time.
Police believe the suspects fled in a vehicle and there is no confirmed description of the car they are travelling in.
At around 10:27 a.m. Monday, RCMP responded to reports of multiple unknown people who entered a home and assault two people inside.
There is a heavy police presence in the area of 62007 Twp. Rd. 360 near #Caroline. Armed suspects are believed to be on foot. Please avoid the area.

Police said the suspects fled the home leaving with stolen guns and headed in an unknown direction.
That area was quickly put into lockdown as police investigated.
The lockdown was lifted after police confirmed there was no further risk to the public, however, police are still asking everyone to avoid the area as they are continuing their investigation.
