Heat warning back in effect for Calgary

CALGARY (CityNews) – Environment Canada has re-issued a heat warning for the city of Calgary.

The warning was issued at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, as temperatures are expected to reach 29 degrees Celsius with overnight lows staying above 14 degrees, for the next two days.

Calgarians should reduce outdoor activities or consider doing outdoor activities during cooler times of the day.

Environment Canada is urging everyone to monitor for symptoms of heat stroke or heat exhaustion, and stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
