Calgary police respond to man with gun at domestic call in NW

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgary police responded to a scary incident at a home in the northwest on Friday night.

Police, including the tactical unit, reportedly called in Friday night to a residence in the 100 block of 35th Street in the community of Parkdale on reports of a man with a gun involved in some type of domestic dispute with a woman.

Calls began coming into 660 NEWS just before 10 p.m. about a possible shooting.

Police have confirmed no shots were fired and they are working to resolve the situation peacefully.

No injuries have been reported and it’s believed the woman involved got out safe.

Due to the nature of the situation, police are not releasing a lot of information at this time.
