Man shot, woman run over in Wheatland County

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – RCMP east of Calgary say a man was shot and woman run over Wednesday evening.

Officers were called to a rural property in Wheatland County and found a man suffering from serious, life-threatening injuries and a woman in serious, but not life-threatening condition.

Both were rushed to hospital.

Police believe the pair was shot and run over during a fight with two people they knew.

A 24-year-old man from the county has been arrested with charges pending.

Several branches of the RCMP are still investigating.
