Crews battle fire at apartment building in Beltline

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Two people and their dog are without a home after a fire broke out at an apartment building in the Beltline.
Fire crews responded to reports of the blaze, at the building near 13 Ave. and 12 Street SW around 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening.
Firefighters quickly attacked and extinguished the blaze to prevent it from spreading to nearby units.
The two occupants and their dog escaped safely but their apartment suffered significant damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
