High-risk offender released near Edmonton

EDMONTON (660 NEWS) – Edmonton Mounties are warning Albertans about a high-risk offender recently released from custody.

Kyle Dennis Johnny, 37, was released on Friday after serving 10 years and nine months for multiple charges.  

Some of Johnny’s charges include manslaughter, assault causing bodily harm, robbery, and aggravated assault.

Police said Johnny will be living in Saddle Lake.

He is described as an Indigenous man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is about 5’11 and weighs 220 pounds.

RCMP believe there is a risk of “significant harm and safety of the public.”

Police said if anyone thinks a crime has been or is about to be committed to call 911.
