Alberta worker in BC tests postive for COVID-19

FORT ST. JOHN – A worker from Alberta who arrived at the Site C hydroelectric worksite in northern BC has tested positive for COVID-19.

BC Hydro says the man arrived at the work camp in Fort St. John on July 13th and self-isolated two days after receiving test results from Alberta Health Services.

The utility says the worker had not left the camp and did not have any interaction with the local community before self-isolation.

The local health region says the worker is being treated at an on-site health clinic.
