Quebec police continue the search for father of two young girls found dead

ST-APOLLINAIRE – The search continues near Quebec City for the father of two deceased girls who were the subject of an Amber Alert earlier this week.
Quebec provincial police searched overnight for the girls’ father Martin Carpentier and will continue today, tightening their search area.
Police spokeswoman Ann Mathieu says local residents can help by looking for anything unusual in their surroundings.
“The best way to help us is to take a look at their old properties. There is no one else better than them to know exactly if there is something unusual on their own properties.”
Autopsies are scheduled to be performed on the bodies of Norah and Romy Carpentier, aged 11 and six, who were found in a wooded area Saturday.
