Four men arrested in violent robbery in southwest

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A dramatic robbery has ended with the arrest of four people and charges are on the way.

Calgary police said around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, four men entered the Rogers store near Richmond Road and Sarcee Trail SW.

The men allegedly threatened the employees with batons, forced them to open a safe, and then tied them up.

The men left the store with more than $75,000 worth of cell phones and accessories.

Investigators were able to track down the suspects and arrest them later that day and charges are pending.
