Heritage Park Historical Village to reopen June 27

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Another family attraction in Calgary is getting ready to reopen after it was closed due to COVID-19.

Heritage Park announced the historical village and Selkirk restaurant will open starting June 27.

The village will only be open Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Several health and safety measures are also being put in to protect staff and guests including one-way traffic flow, reduced capacity, social distancing measures and enhanced cleaning throughout the park.

In a release, park management said, “We thank you for your ongoing patience and support as we continue to work through this process. As the health and safety regulations change, we will assess and revise our operations to the best of our abilities.”

Families wishing to go to Heritage Park are asked to pre-purchase timed entry tickets online.

Last month, the Calgary Zoo reopened after being shut down for weeks.

It also introduced timed ticket entry, social distancing and cleaning protocols.
