Three salons ordered to close by AHS

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Three salons in the Calgary zone have been ordered to close for offering esthetics services.

Sajjal Threading & Waxing Studio in Calgary along with Queen’s Nails in Strathmore and Tanya Kim Esthetics in Crossfield were given orders to close for offering services like waxing, threading and manicures.

Those services are not permitted until Phase two of Alberta’s relaunch.

While no date has been set for that stage, it is expected to come sometime after June 15.

In April, several hair salons in Calgary were shut down for serving customers while public health orders were in place.

Hairstyling and hair cut services resumed following Phase one of Alberta’s relaunch on May 14 in most parts of the province and May 25 in Calgary.
