CALGARY (660 NEWS) — One of the most popular attractions in Calgary officially re-opens Saturday, but there are a few new rules to keep in mind.

The Calgary Zoo now requires you to buy tickets online before heading out and each ticket will be timed so they can monitor the number of people going in and out of the park.

The west entrance on Zoo Road NE will also be closed, making the north entrance the only way to access the zoo.

Members will be given early access to the park from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and then the general public will be allowed in.

Visitors will also notice new pawprints throughout the grounds to help with physical distancing guidelines.

Gift shops, the Discovery Centre, water fountains and playgrounds will remain closed.

For more information, including the zoo’s new hours can be found on their website.
