Calgary police looking for person involved in fatal hit and run in the NE

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Investigators are looking for a person who may have picked up someone that was involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash in northeast Calgary last week.

On May 13, a teen was killed and two other people injured when a sedan ran an SUV off the road near 16 Avenue and 52 Street NE.

Police now believe one of the passengers of the SUV was given a ride and they want to talk to the person who gave it.

They believe the passenger was picked up between where the crash occurred and the Village Square Leisure Centre.

Three people have been charged in connection with the incident.
