Teenager dead after hit-and-run in northeast

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Police say they have found the van involved in a fatal hit and run in the northeast.
Police said the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. in the area around 16 Ave. and 52 Street NE when a van drove an SUV off the road.
One teen was declared dead on scene while two others were taken to hospital as a precaution.
Police say the van drove away and they’re now searching for that vehicle.
Officers have closed 52 Street at 16 Ave. in both directions as they investigate the crash.

Police still do not have a suspect in custody.
