One additional COVID-19 death in Alberta, cases rise by 96

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – One more Albertans has died from the coronavirus.

Alberta Health officials confirming the death during Sunday’s provincial update. The total number of deaths now sits at 95.

This comes as there are 96 new cases of the virus across the province. The provincial total is now at 5,766.

 

The Calgary area has 3,842 cases and contributes to 62 of the total deaths.

AHS says 90 people are in the hospital with 19 patients in the ICU.

To date, 615 cases are from continuing care facilities.
