McDonald’s in Forest Lawn closes after employee tests positive for COVID-19

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Another McDonald’s restaurant in Calgary has shut its doors because of COVID-19.

An employee working at the 17 Ave SE location in Forest Lawn tested positive for the coronavirus on Saturday.

McDonald’s says it in contact with Alberta Health Services (AHS) and out of caution, has closed that location until further notice after the restaurant undergoes a deep cleaning.

All employees who may have come in contact have been asked to self-isolate until further direction is available.

Anyone who visited the McDonald’s location on April 5 is being asked to visit the AHS website for more information on what to do.
