McDonald’s employee in Calgary tests positive for COVID-19

A southwest McDonald's says an employee tested positive for COVID-19. It's close for cleaning and sanitation.

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – An employee at the McDonald’s in Glenmore Landing has tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee from the 90th Ave SW location received the positive results on Wednesday.

Their last shift was on April 2 from 7 a.m to 3 p.m.

The restaurant has since been closed for a thorough cleaning and sanitizing.

It will reopen once the go-ahead is given by public health authorities.

Fellow employees who may have been in contact with the crew member have been asked to self-quarantine.

Anyone who may have been exposed is asked to contact Alberta Health Services.
