Police release photo of man possibly connected to southeast shooting

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgary police are looking for a man who may be connected with a violent shooting almost two months ago.

On Feb. 14, police say a black, 2012 Jaguar XF was parked on 17th Avenue, near 35th Street SE.

As the vehicle pulled away, a man ran up and opened fire, hitting the driver in the shoulder and the passenger in the back. The driver managed to drive to a nearby hospital where the two men received treatment and subsequently released.

After reviewing surveillance footage, police spotted a man waiting nearby at least an hour before the shooting occurred.

Investigators have released photos of the man (above). Anyone who may know him is being asked to come forward.
