CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgary police have so far only issued one ticket to one person for not following a self-isolation order in response to COVID-19.

Five businesses in the city have also received orders from Alberta Health Services to lock their doors but have ignored the closure orders from the province.

AHS says it has also received more than 4,000 complaints in the last month.

CPS would like everyone to make sure they understand the rules when it comes to self-isolation orders.

If anyone is caught disobeying the rules, fines can be thousands of dollars. This comes as the federal government implemented strict rules.
