CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary police are looking for two people that were in the area at the time of a senseless homicide last weekend.

At around 3 a.m. on March 14, a man had been alerted of a break-in at his shop along Bow Trail near 37 Street S.W.

He arrived at the shop and waited in the parking lot for the business to be secured.

Around 6 a.m. it’s believed the three offenders who initially broke into the shop, returned. That’s when an interaction between the man and suspects turned fatal.

The man attempted to make his way to a nearby business for help but passed away before emergency services could arrive.

Now, police have released photos of people believed to be in the area at the time of the homicide.

The two people were seen in a McDonald’s along 17 Avenue near 37 Street S.W.

“We continue to ask for anyone who has knowledge about this tragic and senseless incident to come forward,” Staff Sergeant Martin Schiavetta of the CPS Homicide Unit said in a release. “Sometimes even the smallest piece of information can be enough to help us bring closure to a victim’s family.”

Anyone with information on the incident is being asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
