AHS says wait times for Health Link have been particularly high during peak times of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m and 6 p.m to 10 p.m.

They say you can help the call volumes by visiting the government website for information if you don’t need a health assessment.

Seven people have tested positive for the virus in Alberta with over 77 cases reported in Canada.

Nearly 1,500 people have been tested in the province.
