UCP holds support in Alberta, says poll

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – According to a new poll, Jason Kenney and the Alberta UCP have maintained support after 10 months in power, with an eight-point lead over the NDP.

The Mainstreet Research poll asked respondents who they would vote for if a provincial election was held today.

UCP won the majority, with 41 per cent, followed by the NDP’s per cent. Trailing behind was the Alberta Party with 5 per cent and the Liberals with 3 per cent.

Regionally, the NDP is currently tied with the UCP in Calgary but leads by six points in Edmonton.

The NDP also holds a five-point lead among women voters, while the UCP leads with 22 points among men.
