Mounties confirm missing man found dead was murdered

AIRDRIE (660 NEWS) – Airdrie RCMP have confirmed a missing man found dead earlier this month was murdered.
Kalix Langeneau, 19, was reported missing to police on Feb. 16, and his body was found the day after in an area between Airdrie and Balzac.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit is asking anyone that may have been in the area of Cross Iron Mills, Range Road 290 and Township Road 264 between the hours of 1 to 3 a.m., on Feb 15 to contact them if you witnessed anything suspicious or if have a dash cam on your vehicle.
Langeneau was last seen alive in northeast Calgary early on the morning of Feb. 15.
