Calgary police celebrate Valentines Day by sending out 'ValenCrimes' cards

Calgary police took a unique route to try and rope in some of those who have outstanding warrants.

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary police are sending out cards to some special people in honour of Valentines Day.

CPS is dubbing them “ValenCrimes” cards, and they are being directed at those who have been playing a little too hard to get.

Some of the phrases inside the heart-shaped messages include “Show me your hands” in place of love. As well as “Jail Bird” instead of Love Bird.

Having some fun with those on the run isn’t out of the norm for the Calgary police social media team.

Every Wednesday #WarrantWednesday tweets are sent out, sometimes with witty messages attached to them.
