CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Rage Against the Machine is heading out on a world tour and will be making a stop in Calgary.
The rap-rock band announced late last year it was reuniting for a second time following a nine-year hiatus.
They’ll be visiting a number of U.S. and Canadian cities throughout the spring and summer, including Calgary on May 5th. Other Canadian cities on the tour include Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, and Hamilton, Ontario.
The tour wraps up overseas in Poland on September 10th.
The politically outspoken band says proceeds from the first three shows in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona, will go towards various immigrant rights organizations.
Rage Against the Machine last performed together in 2011.
