AHS continues to test for coronavirus

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – The risk of coronavirus coming to Alberta remains low, but it doesn’t mean Albertans aren’t being tested.

Alberta Health Services (AHS) says they’ve checked another 10 people for the virus.

All 28 tests AHS has carried out so far have come back negative.

AHS is asking anyone who has travelled to the Hubei Province in China to stay in isolation for a couple of weeks, just in case.

Despite not being in the province thus far, just to the west in B.C, health officials announced another 2 presumptive cases yesterday.

That makes a total of 4 cases in B.C.
