TD customers report problems with app, online banking due to 'technical issues'

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A number of TD Bank customers are reporting issues login in to accounts and with the bank’s mobile app.

According to TD, it’s all because of technical issues, but it’s unclear what exactly the problem is.

“We do apologize for the technical issues you are experiencing,” TD has written to multiple Twitter users. “Please know that we are working diligently to resolve this as soon as possible as we understand the impact that it has on our customers. We appreciate your patience!”

Some customers say the outage has been ongoing for hours, with one person even calling it “embarrassing” and a “disgrace.”

While people say they’re having trouble logging in to their accounts online and through the app, TD says customers are still able to make purchases with their cards.
