TURNER VALLEY (660 NEWS) – Two Calgary men were arrested after several vehicle break-ins in Turner Valley.

Early Friday morning, two suspects broke into different vehicles and a house before fleeing.

RCMP spotted their vehicle on Highway 22 near Bragg Creek and eventually stopped it in Springbank when the vehicle ran out of gas.

One man was taken into custody shortly after and police dogs eventually found the second suspect hiding in a dog house.

Officers later found out the suspects’ vehicle was reported stolen from Banff last week.

The two Calgary men face several charges including possession of stolen property over $5000, flight from police and dangerous operation of a vehicle.

Police say further charges of theft and break and enter into a residence are pending.
