OLDS (CityNews) – A traffic stop in Olds has resulted in one man being charged and the seizure of drugs.

Olds RCMP say that on Jan. 21, 2020, they received a complaint about a possibly impaired driver.

RCMP say the driver was wanted on outstanding warrants and arrested him.

Upon an initial search of the vehicle, RCMP found fraudulent documents.

During the search, a passenger told police that she had been assaulted by the driver.

After obtaining a search warrant, RCMP seized various drugs, including what they believe to be heroin and fentanyl.
