B.C. man dead from firearms injury near Beiseker

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A man from B.C. has died following a firearms-related injury Thursday, northeast of Calgary.

Beiseker RCMP, along with police from Airdrie and Three Hills, responded to a call on Highway 567 and Range Road 280 between Beiseker and Airdrie.

Officers found a man injured and rushed him to hospital, where he later died.

The 30-year-old man was from Saanich B.C., but police are not releasing his name.

RCMP believe the man’s death is an isolated case and there’s no risk to nearby residents.
