RED DEER (660 NEWS) – A community health centre in Red Deer needed to be evacuated Thursday morning because of a carbon monoxide leak.
We evacuated our Bremner Avenue Community Health Centre this morning as a precaution due to carbon monoxide alarms sounding. We are working with our emergency service partners from @CityofRedDeer and our maintenance teams to determine the cause and complete repairs asap. 1/2

On Twitter, AHS said, “The safety of our staff & clients is paramount. At this time the facility remains closed & we are contacting those with appointments to rebook. We are working to find alternative arrangements for staff to complete necessary clinical work.”
There is no estimate yet as to when it will be re-opened.
