Two suspects at large after stabbing in southwest

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Police are searching for two suspects after a man was stabbed in the southwest.

Police were called to the Hotel Arts on 12 Ave SW around 3:15 Tuesday morning after hearing an argument broke out in one of the rooms.

Police said one man was stabbed in the altercation and two men left the hotel.

The man who was stabbed was taken to hospital where he remains in critical but stable condition.

Police are now searching for two suspects who witnesses said were black and in their 20s.

One suspect was wearing a red winter coat and jeans while the other wore a puffy black coat with dark-coloured jeans.

Investigators are only referring to the victim as an adult male right now and aren’t releasing information about his identity.

Police are asking anyone with information on the stabbing to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
