Police identify man killed in Boxing Day shooting

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgary police have identified a man shot and killed on Boxing Day.

On Dec. 26, police found a man dead on 16 Ave and Home Road NW after responding to reports of gunshots.

Following an autopsy, the man has been identified as Farah Hersi Handule, 23, from Ontario.

Police say they’re still searching for another man involved in the shooting.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area, specifically, people running or getting into vehicles between 8:45 and 9 p.m., to contact them.
