One man dead after shooting in northwest Calgary

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — One man is dead after a shooting in Calgary’s northwest.

The incident occurred at 16 Avenue and Home Road NW at around 9 p.m. Thursday night.

The victim was declared dead at the scene.

Police are still searching for another male involved in the shooting, who officials say is a suspect.

While roads in the area were closed for several hours for the investigation, they are now open to traffic.
