Woman wanted in string of break-and-enters in NW Calgary

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Police are trying to identify a woman believed to be linked to a series of break-and-enters in the northwest.
On Dec. 4, 2019, around 12:45 p.m., police were called to a house on Coverdale Place N.E. for reports of a break-in.
No one was home at the time and when the owners arrived, they found many rooms had been rummaged through, and several pieces of jewellery were missing.
Surveillance video showed an unknown woman approaching the house, peering through windows and knocking on the door. Moments later, the woman left and three men forced their way into the home.

The woman was wearing a large white parka jacket with black zippers, black pants, black shoes and black gloves. Her face was also covered with clothing. Audio from the video indicated the woman spoke with a Latin-American accent.
Police believe the same woman is connected to at least six other break-and-enter investigations.
