Stampeders to open diamond anniversary season at home

TORONTO (660 NEWS) — Mark your calendars.

The Calgary Stampeders will kick off their diamond anniversary season Friday, June 12, 2020, at McMahon Stadium versus Montreal.

The schedule is out for the club’s 75th CFL campaign.

Another edition of the always popular Labour Day Classic is slated for Monday, Sept. 7, against the Edmonton Eskimos.

The 18-game regular season is once again spread over 21 weeks, with three byes for each team. Calgary’s are in Weeks 8, 12 and 17.

Across the league, the 2020 season will feature a Grey Cup rematch opening week, as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers start their championship defence with a June 13 date at Hamilton.

In terms of the post-season, the divisional playoffs are earmarked for Nov. 8 and Nov. 15. The 2020 Grey Cup will be hosted by Regina Nov. 22 at Mosaic Stadium.
