It’s the final weekend for Toy Angels

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – If you haven’t donated to Toy Angels yet, don’t wait any longer.

This is the final weekend to give to the campaign which supplies toys for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Toy Program.

Thousands of donations have already poured in including a major one on Thursday.

“If you look around our city and we really see how much is needed and we’re going through a little tougher spell right now. We just feel happy to be able to help a little bit.” Gerry Wood said to 95.9 CHFM.

Wood was part of a group that donated over $3,000 worth of toys.

Last year, over 70,000 toys were collected, the most in Toy Angels’ history.

The final day to donate a new, unwrapped toy is Sunday, Dec. 15.

You can donate at any of these locations in Calgary:

CIR Realty Offices
Ricky’s All Day Grill
Marlborough Mall
Westbrook Mall
Calgary Police Service locations
