CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Alberta Health Services is trying to take the pain out of parking tickets at its health facilities this holiday season.

The authority is bringing back its Toys for Tickets campaign.

If you get a ticket, you have the option to pay it with a new toy that will be donated to children at hospitals around the city.

Don’t cheap out though–the gift must be new and have a value of at least $25. Donations will be accepted until Dec. 13.

Last year, more than 200 toys were donated thanks to the alternative payment plan.
